This website is my introduction to prospective employers who might be looking for an enthusiastic and innovative robotics design engineer.

I have worked as a robotics design engineer for Hyde Group Ltd (Design) Automation Division (www.hydegroup.com/tooling-automation.asp) since october 2006 following my graduation.

Experienced on both large and small robotic and automation projects. I have worked on projects with budgets up to £500 million but also some bespoke projects of as little as £ 30,000. Some of the projects have progressed from concept / quote to commission.

The type of applications have varied and included automotive, marine and aerospace market sectors. Currently the company I work for specialises in aerospace automation projects but we have recently started to look in renewable energy source machinery production automation.

In most of the projects over £ 200,000 I have been working as a team member but my brief has been the design and specification of robotic and ancillary equipment for those projects.

I am currently working on two aerospace robot cells for two separate companies involved in the future of composite wing/aircraft assembly, both projects are very much on the cutting edge in aerospace with some areas being edge in all fields.

This website is a work in-progress so it will be changing and might look a little rough on occassions, I started on this website (19/10/08).
